Alice Shi

With a deep interest in interdisciplinary explorations across the social sciences, Alice’s path to Cambridge was far from conventional. Her portfolio of scattered extracurriculars was not helped by the narrative that the odds were stacked against applicants from American schools—that something in their AT-centric curriculum made them less competitive. Having chosen Cambridge over several elite US offers, she understands that it’s never too off-track to succeed—that seemingly disparate interests still form a compelling and cohesive whole in the eyes of uni admissions—and she is excited to help students in similar positions to reach their goals!
